Filmmaker John Carney ("Once") makes makes a love letter to '80s rock with his new movie "Sing Street." Playwright, choreographer and theatrical activist Larissa FastHorse chronicles what it means to be a Native American in Los Angeles through her play "Urban Rez."

Larissa FastHorse's play is part of Cornerstone Theater's "Hunger Cycle" of shows that look beyond physical hunger to examine cultural longing.
The director says he wrote the music for "Once" before coming up with the visuals, "Begin Again" was "the difficult second album," and his latest was an opportunity "to come back home."
