Cal State LA to Hold First Native American Graduation

Idle Oil Wells Pose Danger to South LA Neighborhood
In the South LA neighborhood of University Park there’s a two acre lot filled with 21 idle oil wells. Last year, public officials warned of the public hazard posed by these wells and called for them to be sealed off. But a year later, according to a new report by online news site Capital and Main...that has yet to happen... frustrating residents who have been pushing for these wells to be closed for more than 10 years.
