Oliver Wang and Morgan Rhodes join Tess Vigeland for our weekly new music segment, Tuesday Reviewsday. Below are their picks.

Oliver Wang

Artist: Vince Staples
Album: "Summertime ‘06"
Song: "Senorita"
This is the long-awaited debut album by Long Beach’s Vince Staples. He’s gone the mixtape route for the last five years, but in the meantime he's been groomed by the likes of Earl Sweatshirt and Mac Miller who’ve believed in his talent. I think he’s going to make a major mark this summer with this debut album.

Album: "Every Hero Needs a Villain
Song: "Good Villains Go Last"
This is from the second collaboration between the Wu-Tang’s Inspectah Deck aka the Rebel RNS and Boston’s 7L and Esoteric. The Czarface partnership is like a ‘90s underground rap fiends dream! Oh and the last album, they dropped was on cassette.

Artist: Nicole Willis and the Soul Investigators
Album: "Happiness in Every Style"
Song: "Where are you now?"
Last time, Morgan brought in Saun and Starr and this time, I’m repping for Nicole Willis and the Soul Investigators, the finest retro-soul group to ever come out of Helsinki, Finland. This is from their forthcoming album, their third, and I’d say, at their best.

Morgan Rhodes

Album: "Up All Night"
Songs: "Seein' You"
Eli Escobar is a New York DJ whose trademark house and disco sets are well known among New York nightlife aficionados. He's back with a new EP, "Up All Night," and it shouldn't be missed.

Artist: Major Lazer
Album: "Peace is The Mission"
Song: "Be Together feat Wild Belle"
Crown prince of EDM, Diplo, returns with Major Lazer's latest... a blend of dancehall, reggae and grime we've come to expect, with a dose of pop with star turns from Ariana Grande and Ellie Goulding. Whereas "Apocalypse Soon" his 2014 project was more dubby, this full length album seems more radio friendly.

Artist: Ornette Coleman
Album: "The Art of The Improvisers"
Song: "Music Always"
Ornette Coleman was a self taught saxophonist who pioneered free jazz and said, "How can I turn emotion into knowledge? That's what I try to do with my horn." He coined the term Harmolodics, a concept where all aspects of sounds are given the same weight. And he broke from conventional jazz and innovated, inspiring artists for years to come.
