After months of negotiations, the contract between the city of L.A. and LA28 - the nonprofit organizing the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games - has been made public. The document gets down to the nitty gritty of how the Games and the city will work together. It dictates exactly what the city and taxpayer liability might be if the Games lose money or run over budget. It also includes big picture goals of diversity, gender equity, sustainability, and shared economic opportunity through the Games.
