2014 is going to be a big year for pot legalization advocates.
Colorado will usher in its legal marijuana market on New Year's Day, and Washington State will follow suit in the Spring. Drug Policy Alliance, a drug law reform advocacy group, predicts that similar ballot measures will be introduced in Oregon and Alaska.
In California, where a recent poll showed that 55 percent of voters support the legalization of recreational marijuana, four pot legalization initiatives have been filed for the November ballot.
