Naturally, many people are concerned, even worried and anxious.Which is why we want to start today with a deeper look at the fear many may be feeling today. The homeless population is one of the most vulnerable to communicable diseases, more than just COVID-19. KPCC's Matt Tinoco reports on how LA's officials are working to prevent the virus's spread.

Coronavirus Sports Conferences

While the effects of coronavirus are being felt all over the world in many different parts of life, sports in the US had largely been untouched until last night. The NBA has postponed the season as has Major League Soccer, the National Hockey League and Major League Baseball is suspending spring training. The Pac-12, along with other major conferences have cancelled their basketball tournaments which puts the NCAA's March Madness in jeopardy. ESPN LA's Brian Kamenetzky joins us to talk through these breaking sports announcements.

Clean Rideshare Vehicles

Rideshare vehicles emit 50 percent more carbon dioxide than the average car on the road in California. That's according to a report by the state's Air Resources Board. The department's Joshua Cunningham explains how, by the end of this year, the state will introduce new regulations on rideshare vehicles.
