Fire Forecast
In March, Governor Gavin Newsom declared a wildfire emergency after visiting Lake County, the community ravaged by the Ranch fire last year. In order to take a more preventative stance, Governor Newsom expedited nearly three dozen local forest management projects to protect these communities prone to deadly wildfires. This week, the National Interagency Fire Center forecast another busy wildfire season ahead.

L.A. Metro Wayfindr
LA Metro concludes its month-long pilot program for a new system that will help the visually impaired navigate the city's public transit system. It's called Wayfindr, and it's being tested at Union Station with a planned rollout for later this year.
