A brush fire burning near Forest Lawn in Glendale Sunday was knocked down, Glendale Fire Department PIO Brandy Villanueva told KPCC.
The fire was initially reported around 11:20 a.m. and 10 homes were evacuated. The evacuations have been lifted.
Two acres burned before the fire was extinguished at 1:10 p.m. Fire departments from LA City, LA County, Burbank, Pasadena and Glendale--110 firefighters in all--helped battle the blaze.
No injuries were reported and no structures were damaged.
The cause is under investigation.
