US President Barack Obama chats with host Jay Leno during a break in the taping of “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” October 24, 2012 at NBC Studios in Burbank, California. Obama is making a return appearance, and traffic will be affected on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Be prepared for more than the usual traffic headaches this afternoon — President Barack Obama will be in town again.

Obama is making a short visit to appear on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." He made a similar trip last fall to the Burbank studios where Leno's show is taped.

The president is scheduled to land at LAX at 3:25 p.m. and be in Burbank for the taping with Leno at 4:30 p.m. As is customary with presidential visits, there will be some street closures and congestion to accommodate the presidential motorcade, although Obama will likely be taken by helicopter from LAX to Burbank.
