SPONSORED EVENT: Art in Society Symposium 2023
The Idyllwild Arts 2023 Art in Society (AIS) Symposium explores the theme of finding your joy through acts of play, and how this maintains health and wellbeing.
Guest artists for the daylong event will include Rachel Gartside of the Royal Shakespeare Company, and IAA alumni jazz duo Michael Dunaevsky and Carson Tanner. They will present interactive workshops involving musical and theatrical improvisation, and speak about their work as Citizen Artists.
AIS Student Works will be presented in different locations around campus including original pieces in Music, Film, Poetry,Fashion, InterArts, Theatre, and Visual Arts.
This event is open to the public, and portions will be available as webinars for our global community.
