We are inviting some of our past Unheard LA storytellers to bring their own shows to our home base in Pasadena: the Crawford Family Forum. First up is educator, historian, and LA tour guide Mike “the PoeT” Sonksen and his brand-new show “Letters To Our City.”

Los Angeles is a massive city with as many sides as there are people. We all belong to the city. The dialogue is a never-ending story:

Build the Bridge
lay down the bricks
fill in the ridges
stack the sticks
feed the fire
consider the cost
take it up higher
the city is ours!

"Letters To Our City" will feature Angeleno wordsmiths from a variety of creative fields sharing their perspective on their corner of the city. Sonksen, a third-generation LA native, will serve as host and invites you to take a look at our city with a wider lens.

Featuring:
Lee Boek
Sara Borjas
Rocío Carlos
Natashia Deón
Daniel Hernandez
Armond Kinard
traci kato-kiriyama
Dante Mitchell
Monique Mitchell
Adrian Ramon
Luivette Resto
Terry Robinson
Esther Tseng
