A rendering of a proposed 95-unit graduate student housing complex to be built on the USC Health Sciences Campus in East L.A. Some residents in surrounding neighborhoods are concerned that USC's plans to build out the campus will further fuel gentrification.

Residents of Ramona Gardens, a public housing development in Boyle Heights, were at City Hall Tuesday to voice concern over plans to build more graduate student housing on the adjacent USC Health Sciences Campus.
